When you discuss your life issues with your mother, does she divert the discussion to talk about herself? When you discuss your feelings with your mother, does she try to top the feeling with her own? Does your mother act jealous of you? Does your mother lack empathy for your feelings? Does your mother only support those things you do that reflect on her as a "good mother"? Have you consistently felt a lack of emotional closeness with your mother? Have you consistently questioned whether or not your mother likes you or loves you? Narcissistic personality disorder can be best defined as a paradox. It is because such people who are suffering from this may act confident and superior but they are lacking at self-esteem and are not actually confident about themselves. They are just craving to seek attention from others and want everyone to praise them only. Due to their superior attitude, most of the Narcissistic personality disorder sufferers are unable to build positive relationships with others. The Narcissistic personality disorder can become a cause of great disaster not only for the person who is suffering from this but also for the people who are living around that person. These affected persons more often spend much time thinking about themselves only. They often think about the ways to achieve power and success or about the ways to improve their appearance. They try to take advantage of the people who are around them most of the time. The abnormal behavior in most of the people normally begins early in their adulthood or occurs across a different variety of social situations such as in relationships or work life. In this guide you'll find: Recognizing The Problem-The Narcissistic Mother Characteristics Of A Narcissistic Mother The Six Faces Of Maternal Narcissism Statistics On Narcissistic Personality Disorder Maternal narcissism symptoms Maternal Narcissism Maternal Narcissism Symptoms Consequences of having a narcissistic mother Signs that you have a narcissistic mother Tips to heal yourself if you are raised by a narcissistic mother Raised by a Narcissist? 8 Healing Things to Do for Yourself

A narcissistic mother, to be precise, is the type of parent who is the center of their child's universe, as well as threatened or envious of their growth and independence. The narcissistic parent feels as though their child's purpose is to fulfill their own needs and demands. If their son or daughter does not do what is asked of them, the narcissist will then use their manipulative nature or abusive tactics such as ignoring them or treating another child as their favorite as a form of punishment. When someone is raised by a narcissistic mother, not only are they inclined to developing NPD themselves, but the ability to regulate their emotions and reasoning skills become greatly affected. Simply put, the narcissistic parent will shape, mold, control, and use their children to their advantage, disregarding any of their child's hope, dreams, ethical values, and attitudes or behaviors. As we have talked about, there can be three types of narcissists. The children can be affected in different ways, depending on the category of narcissism. For example, if a mother was a vulnerable narcissist, her kid(s) would grow up passive-aggressive and have low self-esteem as they would constantly second-guess their decisions. If a child was raised by a malignant mother, he or she would then be raised doubting themselves or suffering from PTSD all through adulthood. Due to these consequences, we should take a closer look into the dark triad. With this bit of information, we can then dive into the disadvantages forming a narcissistic parent-child relationship and what the outcome may turn out to be. A covert narcissist will cover their tracks and hide in the corner with their smug aura and internal self-superiority. However, a malignant narcissist is so close to the dark triad personality that they may just end up being psychopathic. Since narcissism is one of the dark triad personalities, it is best to define each one to get the best perspective of what a child of one of the people from the dark triad is about. The personalities that make up the dark triad are narcissism, Machiavellianism, and psychopathy. Each personality has their own malevolent traits and dark behaviors that differ from another but meet the guidelines of what dark persons are believed to be. They all share the same traits of being non-empathetic, less agreeable, and egotistical. This book gives a comprehensive guide on the following: - Effects of being raised by narcissists - Protection tips - Comparison between healthy habits and NPD traits - Prepare yourself for the experience - Can your narcissistic mother change? - The narcissist family setting - The broken parts - Narcissism in family and relationships - The cycle of narcissistic abuse - Common narcissistic situations you may encounter... Similarly, a clear understanding puts off the myths and misconceptions associated with Narcissistic Personality Disorder and gain grounds to support you in case of bullying or misinformation. Anyone can go through this and no one should be discriminated for such an experience. Mothers with Narcissistic Personality Disorder are more likely to seek therapy if they see it as a means to mend relationships. An important barrier to obtaining adequate professional therapy for narcissistic personality disorder arises from the nature of the disorder itself, as those afflicted with it are often unwilling or even unable to acknowledge the problem's presence. A significant first step in promoting someone with NPD to undergo therapy is to convince them that the issue needs to be addressed. Keep in mind that it can be hard to circumvent someone with NPDs defense mechanisms and persuade them of the need for therapy. Approaching the situation without judgment or blame is useful and acknowledging that recovery is likely to be a long and continuous method. Only then will we be able to recognize our children, especially daughters, for who they are and help them achieve their complete, distinctive potential. If you want to supply yourself after a narcissistic emotional abuse and understand how being the daughter or son of a narcissistic mother affect your feelings and your life, then keep reading... Growing up, there were many times I remember getting off the school bus and slowly walking toward my house. Unlike other children, I was in no hurry to get home. I knew that as soon as I walked through that door, I would either be ignored by my mother or have her yell at me. I was never sure which mood she would be in - it felt like I was always walking on eggshells around the house - which often worsened my anxiety, especially as I walked home. I remember feeling like my stomach was all knotted up, the pain so excruciating, I could barely walk. I remember praying as soon as I held the doorknob in my hand that God to give me the strength to handle whatever comes my way. Sometimes, I would even pray that my mother would be gone for the evening and wouldn't come home until I was sound asleep in my bed. For the longest time, I thought I was alone. I didn't believe that anyone else in the world had a mother who didn't care to go to their child's school programs, conferences, sports games or any other events. I remember the first time I met someone who stated the words, "Me too. I know how you feel," when I described what it was like growing up with my narcissistic mother. I remember the shock I felt. I remember feeling like as though a warm, heavy blanket had been placed over me. For the first time in my life I felt like I was no longer alone. There is someone else who understands what it was like to grow up in a home devoid of love and affection. The truth is, there are millions of children who understand what it is like to grow up with a narcissistic mother. There are millions of us who understand what it's like for our mother to put herself above anything else, to refuse to see us score a basket during a basketball game because it disturbs her alone time. There are others who understand what it's like to not hear the words "I love you" or "I am proud of you" from their mother. There are millions of people who understand how much abuse you deal with; how much you wish that you could have someone else's mother. You are not alone. The key points you will learn in this book are: What is Narcissistic Personality Disorder? How this disorder affects the relationship between you and your mother Characteristics of a narcissistic mother Strategies and tips to help you deal with your mother Strategies and tips to help you heal from narcissistic abuse How to reset your mindset, so you can think more positively If your narcissistic mother can change and how to navigate her healing journey Strategies and tips to help you build a stronger relationship with your mother It doesn't matter if you are a mother struggling with Narcissistic Personality Disorder, a son or daughter who was raised by a narcissistic mother. You are about to Learn How to Stop Your Mother's Manipulative Strategies in Their Tracts to Have Your Life, Peace Of Mind And Sanity Back! There are mothers, in the traditional sense of the word "mother", who would do anything for their children, irrespective of whether they are young or old with families of their own. And then there are narcissistic mothers, who are the complete opposite of 'traditional mothers'; lying, manipulative, always wanting to get their way, always striving to become the center of attention, always turning things around to be about them, never apologetic, never taking responsibility and much more. If your mother falls in the 2nd category, you know just how tiring, helpless and thankless your relationship with her can get. And the guilt and sense of obligation you may feel as an adult child could literally drive you nuts, as you feel the need to keep everything secret and maintain the rosy image that your narcissistic mother has held for years! Where do you even start? You probably have lots of questions... What goes on in her mind to want to unleash her manipulative tactics on you? How can you spot her manipulative and narcissistic strategies from getting through to you? How can you build a relationship with your mother when she just seems like she is out to annoy you on purpose, oppose you for the sake of it and just never offer any help like other 'normal' mothers do? How can you heal from the trauma and abuse that she has brought on you throughout the years? When do you decide enough is enough and develop the courage to cut ties with your mother, even if it hurts you deeply? If you have these and other related questions, this book seeks to answer them all so keep reading, as it covers the ins and outs of turning a new leaf in your life as you deal with your narcissistic mother.
